Steps To Optimum Health

• Develop a Personal and Vibrant Relationship with the Creator

• Start and End Each Day with Prayer, Praise, Bible Study and Meditation (Reflection) on God’s Word

• Seek to Honor the Lord in All Things

• Watch and Read That Which is Profitable

• Have a Positive Mental Attitude – Faith, Hope, Courage and Confidence

• Cultivate the Fruit of the Spirit (Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control)

• Eat Healthy: Replace Snacks, Sugar Drinks and Junk Food with Nutritious (Organic when Possible) Fresh Fruit and Vegetables, Whole Grains, Legumes, Raw (Unsalted) Nuts and Seeds, Lean Protein, Healthful Fats, and Plenty of Leafy Greens

• Do Not Overeat; Chew Food Thoroughly to Aid Digestion, Assimilation and Elimination

• Drink Adequate Amounts of Pure Water and Vegetable Juices

• Fast Occasionally

• Avoid Either Extreme of Compulsive Overworking or Persistent Laziness

• Exercise Regularly – Get Your Body Moving

• Protect Your Skin – Enjoy Being Outdoors Getting Exercise (Walking, Yard Work ...) but Limit Sun Exposure

• Laugh, Whistle, Hum and Sing to Calm and Revitalize

• Sleep Seven to Nine Hours Nightly and Get Adequate Relaxation (in a Hammock ...)

• Rest One Day a Week to Rejuvenate Your Body, Mind and Spirit

• Abstain from Alcohol, Drugs and Needless Medications

• Remove Harmful Pollutants and Toxic Chemicals from Your Home and Workplace

• Use Wisdom to Prevent Careless Accidents and Injuries
